MENTORSHIP PLAN

After graduating with my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, my commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth remains a priority. I plan to continue receiving mentorship and supervision from experienced clinicians at my site, ensuring that I develop strong clinical skills while maintaining ethical and effective therapeutic practices. In addition, I will pursue specialized training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Sand Tray Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to deepen my therapeutic approach and expand the modalities I can offer clients. Strengthening my play therapy knowledge is also a key focus, as I aim to refine my ability to work effectively with children and adolescents.

Beyond formal training, I believe that true competency comes from continuous education and engagement with diverse perspectives. I will actively read books, listen to podcasts, and participate in discussions with peers to further develop my understanding of neurodivergence and best practices for working with neurodivergent clients. Additionally, I will engage in online groups and professional forums to learn from a broader network of clinicians.
